Also, upon successful completion of the course, there will be a job waiting for you at Learn & Pass in Kent, so you will be happily working in your new career in no time.

A guaranteed job on completion of your training!

Here at Learn & Pass, we guarantee you a position at our driving school once you have successfully completed your training course. This means that as soon as you gain your qualification, you will be able to start earning immediately. You will receive our full and ongoing support in your new career as a driving instructor, and we will help you every step of the way.

Sounds good! How do I qualify?

The ADI qualification is made up of 3 parts: A theory test (Part 1), a practical driving test (Part 2), and a teaching ability test (Part 3). Your training course will incorporate full training for each of the 3 parts to ensure that you are completely ready to pass each stage.

Part 1

The Theory Test

The first part of the ADI qualification process is a Driving Theory Test, similar to the theory test for learner drivers, although far more in depth and with a much higher pass mark requirement.

Part 2

The Practical Driving Test

From the date you pass your Part 1 test, you will have 2 years in which to complete the next 2 parts of the qualification process. Part 2 is a driving ability test and you will be examined on all aspects of driving over the course of around an hour. You will be required to perform all manoeuvres and drive at a very high standard for the duration of the test.

Part 3

The Teaching Ability Test

This test examines your knowledge and your ability to convey and teach people to drive. A mandatory minimum of 40 hours of training must be dedicated to this part of the qualification process. The examination is carried out by a senior examiner who sits in on a normal driving lesson and assesses how the lesson is conducted. You will have been teaching on a 'pink' license at this stage, and already earning an income!
